At The Green Elephant, we believe the preschool years are about more than preparing for school—they’re about nurturing confident, connected, and resilient young learners. Children in their threes, fours, and fives are discovering who they are, learning to express themselves, and building meaningful relationships that will shape their future.

Each child is unique, with their own personality, interests, and pace of development. Our qualified early childhood teachers design engaging, play-based programs that balance child-led exploration with intentional teaching. Small group experiences allow educators to tailor learning to each child’s needs—fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning through every “why,” “what,” and “how.”

As independence and communication grow, children take greater ownership of their day—helping set up and pack away activities, practising self-help skills, and engaging in experiences that spark investigation and imagination.

Our preschoolers enjoy a rich and varied program, including incursions, excursions, and activities such as yoga and soccer. Frequent small-group outings to cafés, libraries, and post offices help children connect with their community.

We work closely with families to ensure each child steps into school—and the wider world—feeling capable, curious, and deeply secure in who they are.
