Toddlers
Little explorers learning independence and making friends

The twos and threes are full of energy, ideas, and emerging independence. At The Green Elephant, we embrace this exciting stage with calm confidence—offering gentle boundaries, playful learning, and the freedom children need to truly flourish.
At this age, children are becoming increasingly social—playing with friends rather than alongside them. Our educators guide them through the art of sharing, taking turns, and understanding others’ perspectives, building empathy and connection through every interaction.
Independence grows rapidly in these years. Toilet training, feeding themselves, and dressing with confidence are all important milestones we support with patience and encouragement. With a ratio of one educator to every five children, we provide the personalised care and attention each child deserves.
Our learning program reflects every child’s emerging interests—whether it’s dinosaurs, cooking, or cars—balancing teacher-led experiences with time for free indoor and outdoor play. Picture books, stories, and counting games nurture early literacy and numeracy, while open-ended play fuels creativity and curiosity.
Above all, this stage is about developing self-awareness, social skills, and confidence—helping every child grow into a capable, kind, and curious learner, ready to take on the world.
