High-quality early learning experience within one of Sydney’s most vibrant urban suburbs.
Purposefully designed to meet the needs of families, our centre blends function, creativity, and care in a calm, engaging setting.
Our large, well-appointed classrooms are designed to promote collaborative learning, imaginative play, and strong social development. Children have access to a wide range of learning materials that foster both inquiry-based and play-based experiences.
Outdoor learning is an integral part of our holistic educational approach. Each classroom opens onto our thoughtfully designed outdoors where children play, explore, and learn. Through activities such as composting, caring for our vegetable garden, and nature-based play, children develop a deep connection to their environment. These experiences support physical development, environmental responsibility, and emotional wellbeing.
The Green Elephant at Waterloo is a place where educational excellence, wellbeing, and environmental awareness come together to support every child’s journey.
All You Need,
Thoughtfully Included
We believe early learning should be simple, nurturing, and stress-free. That’s why we provide everything your child needs each day—quality resources, wholesome meals, and the comforts that make our centres feel like home.

As an all-inclusive, family-owned centre, we make life easier for families by providing all the essentials—nappies, formula, sunscreen, hats, nutritious meals, and more—so you can focus on what matters most.
Through a holistic curriculum designed by our qualified educators, creativity and inquiry are at the heart of every experience. Children are given access to rich, premium resources that nurture their full potential—building confidence, curiosity, and readiness for school and beyond.
With guidance from our Nutritionist, our in-house chefs design seasonal menus full of fresh, balanced ingredients—helping children thrive through nutritious meals made with love and purpose.
Learning extends outdoors to an expansive natural space where interactive gardens, mud play, and water play inspire limitless exploration, adventure, and joyful connection with nature.
Experiences including music, physical education, yoga and language classes are embedded into our daily curriculum. This gives children opportunities to develop core life skills in fun, engaging ways.
Through inclusion, collaboration, and community spirit, we foster a caring environment where children and families feel seen, supported, safe, and connected in their shared journey of learning and growth.

See what Waterloo offers for your child’s learning and growth

From the moment we walked into The Green Elephant, we felt at home.
The educators are warm, attentive, and truly invested in every child’s growth. Our son has blossomed in confidence, made wonderful friends, and comes home excited to share his day. The Green Elephant’s approach is thoughtful and nurturing, and we’re so grateful to be part of this community."

Waterloo Parents

The Green Elephant has been a second home for our daughter since she was 10 months old. The educators genuinely know each child’s personality and needs.
We love the outdoor spaces, creative activities, and how included we feel as parents. Every day she comes home happy, confident, and full of stories. Their philosophy is embedded in everything they do, and it shows in how our daughter is thriving. We couldn’t imagine her early years anywhere else."
